A recap of 2022 and a look forward to 2023...
2022 was not the year of the blog for us... at all! However, in our defence, we were really busy with what was our most jam packed year of mobile bars yet.
Weddings, parties, anniversaries, cocktail bars, festivals and more weddings, it was pretty full on. Just as we could see a few days off coming over the horizon another booking would appear out of nowhere and see us into the next 2 months of events.
December then continued the trend being our busiest festive season so far with Christmas parties and events all over the place, from Suffolk to Central London.
So, maybe it isn’t such a bad thing to not have time for blogging. But for the hardcore followers of our mobile bar blog out there... please be rest assured we are still keeping Essex and Suffolk hydrated whilst they party!
Let’s have a catch up on some of the venues and places that we provided our mobile bar service at across Essex, Suffolk and beyond over the past 12 months. And also a sneak peek at some exciting new venues that we’ll be working at in 2023.
Some of the amazing new wedding venues that we served drinks at for the first time included Alpheton Hall Barns in Sudbury, Hylands House in Chelmsford, Tithe Barn in Sproughton, Woolston Manor in Chigwell and Orsett Hall in Thurrock.
These are all brilliant wedding venues in their own unique ways and we can't wait to provide our wedding bar service at all of them again in the near future.
We also returned to some much loved venues that we have worked at numerous times before such as The Garden Barn in Little Bradley, Rookery Meadow in Harleston, Suffolk Barn in Hawstead, Langtons House in Hornchurch and The Hare’s Field in Weathersfield.
It’s always a pleasure to return to all of these venues. The owners and staff are all so lovely and helpful from the moment we arrive. It really feels like a team effort for the day when working at all of these awesome places.
Then there was the myriad of weddings and parties held in marquees and tipis across the region. We continue to be surprised by how many idyllic green spaces there are tucked away in every corner of Essex and Suffolk. Where there is a good looking field there will always be a couple planning to host their big day in the middle of it!
Even Colchester itself, where we are based, is full of hidden gem locations that we never even knew were there. And we love discovering more and more of them every year.
Nothing beats setting up the bar on a gorgeous summer’s morning in a beautifully adorned wedding marquee, overlooking the East Anglian countryside. It’s good for the soul!
Looking forward to 2023...
After a short break throughout January we are now gearing up for another 'event-full' year, with some upgrades to our mobile bars, equipment and drinks menu all in motion.
We are excited to be providing our wedding bar hire at more spectacular venues for the first time and return once again to some of our regular venues too.
