Self-Serve Bars - New for 2019

Our brand new range of rustic Self-Serve Bars are finally here and we're in love!
Anything that involves a tap and alcohol is probably always gonna be freakin' awesome, right?
But imagine the level of awesomeness if that tap was attached to a rustic, hand-crafted bar unit with a couple more taps - all of which magically dispense ice cold beer, delicious cocktails and premium Italian Prosecco! Just imagine...
The initial plan for us to introduce a self-serve bar option came about whilst we were attending a wedding last year. Inside the reception marquee was a large trestle table with some Kilner drinks dispensers all lined up, filled with a selection of drinks.
To begin with it looked really cool. One was filled with lager, another with Prosecco, there was also a Pimms and then a couple of soft drink options. About half an hour later though, once it had been mobbed by 120 parched wedding guests, it didn't look so great.
The beer dispenser literally lasted about 3 minutes, the Prosecco was coming out luke warm and the table itself had basically become a plastic cup paddling pool...
So there we were, Elderflower water in hand - lightbulb moment!
Six months on and we finally have these little beauties ready to make some wedding and party guests very happy indeed.
The Beer Bar, The Cocktail Bar and Pimp Your Prosecco have all been designed and made from scratch with both practicality and aesthetics in mind.
Each bar comprises of three sections to allow for easy installation in even the smallest of venues. All the technical gear such as the cooler, beer lines, gas and kegs are completely hidden away by the gorgeous, rustic exterior of the bars - made primarily from reclaimed pallet wood and scaffold board.
The bar tops are fitted with a recessed stainless steel drip tray to catch any spillages and the solid chrome taps have an extended spout to make pouring drinks even easier - especially handy later in the evening once you've had a few!
The hardest task from the entire process however was of course the product testing session...
We couldn't beleive how amazing the draught cocktails tasted, every single one was as good if not better than any freshly mixed cocktails we've ever had. The Passionfruit Martini in particular was outstanding, although so was the Gin Garden to be honest.
The absolute consistency of each cocktail from the first to the very last in the keg is very impressive, the same of which is true for the Prosecco Frizzante - crisp, fresh and incredibly easy to drink.
And just for the avoidance of doubt all of the beer and cider options were also rigorously tried and tested - they too passed!
So, even though the making of these bars took a little longer then we first expected, it was well worth the wait. Gone are the days of DIY wedding bars and make-shift drinks stations, just hire a god damn beer bar... AM I RIGHT?!
