A bath tub full of booze!
One good thing about the lockdown was that it gave us some time to come up with new ideas, one of which was... The Beer Bath!
With our rustic wooden bars proving to be more popular then ever (not including the last 18 months obviously...) we wanted to introduce some additional rustic themed 'add-ons' that not only look great but also serve as a practical solution to the wedding bar services we provide.
More often than not, welcome drinks are the first point of call after the ceremony so our logic was - what better way to greet guests at the wedding reception than with a galvanised steel bath tub full of ice cold booze?!?
After a fair amount of searching online marketplaces and a few socially distanced trips to local farms... we finally found the right one. It was literally love at first site :)
And it didn't take long before it was put to good use, as our first wedding after the lockdown decided to add a bath full of 144 cold ones!!
Practically, it also worked really well keeping all the reception drinks chilled throughout the afternoon and allowed guests to grab a drink whenever they liked. But, most importantly, it complimented our rustic mobile bar perfectly and fitted in with the couple's amazing rustic wedding theme.
So, it may have been a really tough 18 months with no weddings, no events and virtually no business, but at least it allowed us the time to find The Beer Bath.
Surely, there's a moral in that story somewhere...
