A rustic themed marquee wedding at the awesomely charming Rookery Meadow!
If ever there was a reason to plan your wedding day right in the middle of the Great British summer time it would most likely be to guarantee clear blue skies and glorious sunshine from dawn until dusk.
And that's precisely what every couple up and down the country had planned for Saturday 27th July, right up until the point it absolutely chucked it down for most of the day!
The good news for Mike and Lisa, however, was that they had chosen to tie the knot at Rookery Meadow, a venue where something as trivial as a little rain certainly has absolutely no effect what so ever on a beautiful wedding taking place.
Having provided our mobile bar hire at Rookery Meadow before, we already knew that the owners of the venue, Rob and Gemma, work tirelessly as a team to ensure every couples wedding day is as flawless as the last. So, it came as no surprise to us that this occasion was as perfect as our last visit.
The wedding chairs were swiftly moved from under the old oak tree outside and arranged perfectly inside the marquee where the ceremony took place. We even had a front row veiw of the action from behind the bar!
Everything ran like clockwork from the moment the bride arrived right the way through until last orders.
There was delicious food being served throughout the entire day, live music, cocktails, more cocktails and an amazing amount of love amongst all of the guests who had travelled from far and wide to share Mike and Lisa's special day with them.
It was an absolute pleasure to be back working at this elegant, charming and well organised venue.
